Two construction workers fell to death from the eleventh floor of an under-construction IT park building near Velahery on
Bhavan (26) and Surendar (25), from West Bengal, were engaged in fixing iron sheets above the roof. Suddenly, a large iron sheet fell on one of them while trying to fasten another sheet to a pillar. With the pressure of two heavy iron sheets on them, both of them lost their balance and hung on to the safety belt. Before other workers could come to their resuce, their belts snapped and plungged to the ground. Five other workers were engaged on the 11th floor, fixing iron sheets.

A reminder to check all harnesses - they get easily damaged.   Lives depends on them, they need to be in perfect condition
